J ust back from the 48hr guided session with Kevin Durman at Medway
Valley Fisheries, that I won in Tenchfishers raffle. Many thanks
to those that organised the raffle.
In particular, I’d like to thank Kevin Durman for his generosity,
expertise, and at times patience! An overnight session is a rarity
for me, so this was a real treat and something I’d been looking
forward to.
We fished Trout Lake , and though it was hard going I still managed
a pb Tench and a pb Mirror.
Finally, I’d also like to thank Tony Pocock and the team at MVF
for allowing us free use of the Lake.

I was looking to find someone that would be able
to help me improve my Pike fishing and I came across Kevin. He was
brilliant, not only did he explain all the different methods of
fishing for pike but he even walked me through how to make the rigs
and traces. I literally fired question after question to Kevin,
everything from how to select the correct swim, to advice on tackle,
bait management the lot. He is really knowledgeable, not just on
pike but Carp, tench etc . He was extremely patient, friendly and
professional, I would highly recommend using Kevin to anyone. I
walked away netting my personal best so was over the moon! Top Bloke

I have never taken a group fishing before, so I was very anxious about finding a coach that was both knowledgeable and competent in working with young people. Kevin and his team were both of these things, he was able to build a rapport with the young people very quickly and delivered a session that enabled the young people to either learn a new skill or develop an existing one. Kevin chose the ideal location for the day and was fully prepared for the session; he was an absolute pleasure to work with. Thanks again Kevin for a fantastic day.

The Orchard School
As a school we have been lucky enough to be angling
with Kevin on a weekly basis, with pupils ages ranging from 7 to
15, Kevin's knowledge and experience is matched by his patience,
and his ability to pass that knowledge on even to our younger pupils
making each session engaging and enjoyable whilst the pupils are
not only learning about the environment, species, and bankside etiquette
but also the skills needed to become a safe and successful angler.
There is a buzz around the school about fishing and the fish we
are catching week in week out and Kevin has created that buzz.
